Feed The Hungry Bee
There were so many ways
I couldn’t help but say
Our realms often consist and revolve around trivial matter
Mystic attributes which sometimes gather and
Sometimes scatter here
Now inside this chaos
Feed the hungry bee like rain feeds moss
Take away the anxious reeling
Help ‘em land and change the feeling
Dropping them back to the ground from Space
Dropping’s what sent them off in the first place
Some of us can time travel One Thousand Miles
On a journey of the mind and
Never go ten feet off the blanket
Feed the hungry bee
It’s all about learning and everything we each experience
All day every day becomes our experience
Our only way
That Bee you fed that time will never forget your actions
That bee will come across their own li’l hungry bee
Some day down the days
It doesn’t matter who they be
It doesn’t matter what they need
Give them some honey sticky sweet
Give them some eye candy some new designs to meet
One bee finds another
Down the line A Sisters finds a brother
So try to keep those mystical attributes all together
You may find a hungry bee in any kind of weather
Open your wallet or open your mind
Open your heart and you will most certainly find
The hungry bee chain carries on wide and long
Down the years the traditions are sturdy and strong
Give it a shot try to right a wrong
Help your community find reason and drive
Help your community and bee a part of the hive

Bird Meditation
Our cat Latte sits
In zen pose bird meditation
Every morning
On bench in sun
On the deck in wet weather
Listening only to
Rooster, raven
Grosbeak, chickadee, robin, crow
Thrush and sometimes a gang of juncos
She sits with bell on collar to keep her honest
She is trying her best
Not to hunt

Dropsy Turvy
Dropsy-turvy
A little bit tippy
On-top-of-the-world-happy
I’m copping to curvy
Ripped and rounded
Flopped and floundering
Loose and goosey
Honking my horn
Soft and wavy
A little bit more hazy
This isn’t really my normal
Everyday crazy
Sometimes it’s hard
For me to tell for certain
What’s really happening and
What’s behind the curtain
Now I’m feeling sort of tiny and
A little bit of slop
Sometimes it’s a curtain
Sometimes a veil drops
I’m not feeling jagged or torn
More rounded and lazy
If I am designating
This feeling is floating and dreaming
I think it is best if I just ride it
I know how to slip it
I know how to slide it
Whatever comes my way- I will improvise it
The mist here is thick and
It’s really not fleeing
I think I will ride it
Like a beat keeps repeating

I Do Not Beg to Differ
I’m not one who begs when I differ
In this life which we all suffer
Willingly keeping it all going
It’s worth it all without knowing
Why, Where, When, What and Who
Planted the seeds that this mystery grew
From the first time anyone sang a song
Or danced as if possessed all night long
From the first time the first sound barrier cracked
Moving forward we felt the lack
As momentum had dropped itself off
Not only with a case of woodpecker’s cough
But too far up the far road
That runs between the ocean and that river that overflowed

Light > Dark
I think maybe dark simply does not understand light
I hesitate to even attempt to imagine
I can think like the dark
But if dark had been for some unnamed time in deep dark
If inside the deepest depths of deep dark a sudden glare were to flash
Let’s say it’s even the slightest flicker, but strong
The smallest bit of light is amplified by the deepest dark
It seems to me the dark would be disconcerted
Light has power over dark
This philosophizing can lead to logic
Light is greater than dark
Whether dark understands or not
The tiniest little bit of light
In the deepest depths of dark
Can be both sight and vision
A fissure in the dark
Caused by a shaft of light
Is stronger than the darkest deep of night
Light is greater than dark
I know
I’ve seen it and felt it happen

20 Years and one day of LIGHT
I’ve lived in darkness and light and I prefer a life of light
Tint, Tone and Shade
Tint, Tone and Shade
Walk into a bar
Insisting on equal space and
Tertiary coloring
Scheming out the wheel
Turning to pure colors
Distinctively different complements
Directly opposite accidents

Precedents
While the North Song fills the Wind
While the leaves have already left
Tint, tone and shade left, too
Right under our noses
Right in front of our lobes’
They’d be out on the edge of town, by now
Disappearing into the glade
There go Tint, Tone and Shade
Tempted to hesitate, they did not
They complimented all the timeless drum machines
Lacking metronomic common sense
Then they split
