Pursuance of a Psalm (Part 4)

11.2.2015

In pursuance of a psalm
Plucking the proverbial harp
Sucking in as much air in one breath
Filling both lungs reciprocating with function

Although with purpose and awareness
With an explicit idea where all the air goes
Through the embouchure {{amBooshoor}}
Through the mouthpiece
Through the brass folds and multi-folds
Tracking back and forth
Through the funnels and tunnels of the sultry saxophone

In pursuance of a psalm
Plucking the proverbial harp
Tucking meaning inside breadth and depth
Sandwiching the meat of the conversation
To be essence-boiled
Down to spirit
Down to the blue flame
The burning inside

Down to your guide inside
Follow what’s left
Do what’s right
Follow what you have inside
Your principles
Your integrity

You

In pursuance of a psalm
Follow yourself
You’re the only elf who knows

Follow what’s left and
Do what’s right
